I just installed the phpbb3 advanced seo mod to a fresh 3.0.2. It works fine but if I switch on the virtual folders for the forum I have a problem. If I click onto a Forum I get a page which has no style code ?? It is a white page with Forum stuff but not formatted in any way, it seems the style information is missing. If i switch back and turn the virtual folders off everything is fine again. Any Ideas why ?

It means tat you did not implement the template code change in all your themes, or did not cleared template's cache in style acp after you did.

I used the premodified files from the zip and also deleted the cache. It does not help, still the same problem ;(

Well this only works for prosilver and subsilver2, not for other themes, if any, they must be modified manually.

I am using the default theme, I have no other themes installed. I installed a fresh 3.0.2 and used the premod files from your archive.

mm. Make sure you use the refresh template link in the style acp and that you as well clear your browser's cache.

It should be working unless your phpBB config is not correct for domain name and script path.

hmmm...i did it all and checked everything. It does not work. It also does not work for virtual profiles. It works fine without the folders option. If a URL contains a / at the end everything is broken. Maybe this is a servers issue ? Rewriting itself is fine. Domain and script path is also correct. Forum runs on a subdomain without subfolder. grmpf...i want to use the virtual folders thing.....

any debugging possible ?

Well, look in the source code, in the first lines you should find something like :

<base href="http://phpbb3.phpbb-seo.net/"/>

If the url there is not correct, then the config is not properly set, and the base href tag is useless, if you do not see any base href tag, your template are not up to date.

In the source of the page I dont have any base href entry. I checked the overall_header.tpl and the entrys ({SEO_BASE_HREF}........) are all there (they must be there because i used your premodified files !).

I also checked it with the subsilver2 style...same error.....

Did you check the source code on a topic url with virtual folder activated ?
