But I discovered that it messes up the behaviour of SEO (0.4.4)

Google indexes not properly anymore... Links are like this;

board/topicname-t47198.html-st=0&sk=t&sd=a

board/topicname-t45554s450.html

whats in bold should not be there.. Whats going on, its causing 404's now

I really don't want that stupid extra data in topic titles, it's pointless

Would you provide a bit more background? For example, what phpBB SEO mod(s) you have installed, what version of phpBB, what mods you've installed, board URL, etc? Modifying the viewtopic header should not affect the generated URL...

These urls looks like coming from another url rewriting mod.

So if you moved to ours, you can properly redirect these pretty easily with the zero dupe, just keep the old mod rewriterules up and running (eg with proper path and slashes) and the end of your new phpBB3 ones.
