400 bad request only with firefox

Postby ZonaKaoz » Mon Feb 02, 2009 9:05 am

Hello, i do not know what is the cause, of course I am not an expert in php, but I've installed and uninstalled many mods and I did it to perfection with the advanced seo url.

I am using phpbb 3.0.4 with your mods Advaced seo url, zero duplicate and gym sitemaps, and works perfectly.

But there is one detail, since i installed the advanced seo url, there are times that my visitors reported me that error 400 bad request appears, only when they open the topic pages. The forums and index work well is only in the topics, another detail is that it only happens with firefox.

One way to fix it is deleting the browser cookies and they solve the problem effectively.

I reviewed my site with the web-sniffer, as indicated in the instructions, send the header to my site and I get 200 ok, everything seems to be fine, and everything installed fine, but only happens with firefox.

Just a few minutes ago I read a discussion which may be an error caused by the long titles, but I created a post with a long title to test, and several of my users did not have the error 400

I hope u can help, thanks.

Sorry my english..

I think that this is only due to FF.
I encountered similar behaviour (even worst) with FF which ended up being related to tab browsing with the firewall I used to use at that time. It was working with other browser in this example.

Changing the firewall made everything come back to normal.

Now, I very rarely get empty forums right here on phpBB SEO with FF.

Since these barely never occurs, I assume it's a side bug, either dealing with FF or with the network transmission.
