Hi,

I installed phpBB SEO Premod 0.4.8 Advance. It seems to work fine until I tried to edit an existing topic and click the save or submit button. The post is being saved but not properly redirected. This error also happens when editing existing posts.

What's happening exactly ?
What is the url of the 404 page ?
Did you set any test account / test thread where we can try it ?

I have already fixed the error. I think the problem was caused when I installed the Gym Sitemaps. But because I was not able to make it work, I uninstalled it and I think this triggered the problem. It's a good thing I have a demo forum where I first installed the phpBB SEO premod. What I did to fix the problem is just to copy the whole phpbb_seo folder from the demo forum and pasted it to the live forum and now if I edit a post and submitted or saved it, the 404 error does not appear anymore. The only problem is that it is redirected to a different URL which is the original URL without the SEO rewrite. Please see below URL examples

Any Idea on how it will redirect to the URL withe SEO rewrite?

It's not implemented yet, because it's not very important, the zero duplicate already makes sure that the post urls are not used by SEs, this one is just one of the very few left over that bots will never see (since they do not post).

Thanks for the fast reply. You're really a big help. Do I need to activate the Zero Duplicate Option of PhpBB SEO Advance option in my forum so that bots won't see the latter URL?

Yes, and set the post redirection option to at least "guests"
