Yes becuase SID removal was done by Mod rewrite only...

Is there anyother way to remove SID?

But it's only done if the cookie based session is available, and in your case, it does not seems to be the case and sid in urls are just required to keep the session (don't you loose it if you load an url without sid while logged in ?).

I'm afraid that removing sid with your setup would result in no session at all.

I have this problem too
When I don't login, I can see SEO Link is fine
But when I login my User Control Panel I've this problem

If you only see sid right after you log in or in mcp/ucp/acp, then, it's normal, and totally safe since a) SE do not go there and b) outdated sid are automatically removed by the zero dupe.
If you always get sid in urls, there are two possible reasons, it's either that your browser does not accept cookies, and if so you're the only one to see these sids, or your phpBB Server and Cookie settings are not set right.
