Soon after I installed the mod rewrite mod, I got plenty of user complaints such as:
"I wanted to ask if there was something wrong w/my password or login name? I can not login. I will typed in all info and then it screen will change and say I'm logged-in then the screen will change again and have me logged out again. Just wanna make sure I'm not banned by accident?"

"I log in, and get "you have been successfully logged in". Then, another screen pops up right after that and says "you need to log in". Very frustrating. I am logged in one minute, then kicked out, and requested to log in again."


Could it be because of the "remove sid" setting? If yes, that setting is pretty useless / dangerous ...

hi no it's not becuase of ban or remove sid.
try deleting cookie and cache of your browser and aslo your board.

I deleted my board cache.
However, I cannot possibly ask my 254,818 users to clean their cookies and browser cache, especially since probably 90% of them have no idea what a cookie or a browser is!
I got about 20 emails today from users who got kicked out after logging in, and only since I installed this mod (or the GYM mod, I installed both).
Unfortunately I can't reproduce the bug myself, so it's hard to understand what it is ...

ok so just diactive url rewite and see is it correct?

Deactivate the sid removing option, it's not useful seowise and can cause this kind of trouble for user that do not accept cookies.
