Remove Topic ID

Postby vadim » Sat Apr 28, 2012 3:12 pm

Instead: myforum/my-lovely-dog-t54.html, I wanted to make it myforum/my-lovely-dog

Understand that topics with the exact same name (and URL) would be the problem.

Is there anyway to make it like WordPress? If there is no duplicate topic, it will become:
myforum/my-lovely-dog

When there is another user create "My Lovely Dog" it will become:
myforum/my-lovely-dog-2

Can anyone give some advices?

I got this one figured out. Check my post here: Re: remove .html part of url title. It's working great for me. :) The only thing is, it doesn't remove the topic id. I explain why here: -http://www.phpbb-seo.com/en/advanced-seo-url/article6877.html#p41797
