Problem of indexing our forum in Google

Dear All,

First I like to present myself as webmaster as one of the leading webs regarding the shooting sport and hunting: ARMAS(dot)ES

In our forum we have some >38.000 registered users and well above 1,3 million posts and well over 3 million page views / month.

Our general content (administered via a Joomla platform) is well indexed
Google with over 20,000
Yahoo with over 10,000
Life with over 20,000

However, our forum content is nearly not indexed in Google, with less than 100 references.

I assume that something is very wrong with our configuration of our PHPBB, as our general content apprears in the first page of Google and our Forum not at all.

Some technical background:
* PHPBB version 3.0.6
* we activated bots access
* Ultimate SEO URL mod (Mode : Advanced - 0.6.2) and Zero duplicate activated
* GYM Sitemaps V 2.0.0


We have seen that other PHPBB forums do not have this problem: PLEASE can someone give us a hint what is wrong.

It's a bot groups auth issue. Looks like bots just do not have the right to view and read your forum.

It's unfortunately a common issue when you migrate from phpBB2 to phpBB3, auth, and especially bot's auth need to be check (and also set for new features).

The solution is simple though, just make sure that the bot group has the right to view and read all public forums (the ones guests can see and read).
Once you'll have set the auth properly, bots should start to crawl your forum again.
