Decrease of indexed pages in Google

Hi,

I've noticed that the number of indexed pages of my website has decreased significantly over the past few months.

Does Google has something to do with this? What is the best thing that I should do to stop this?

Hi this may be due to panda effect, you should consider the following points:

1) redesign the website to make it more user friendly

2) remove excessive key words from pages

3) remove old pages which has no value for the users

4) remove duplicate contents (if any) from the website.

Hope above points will help your website come up of panda effect.

In case you've installed phpBB-SEO and had phpBB before this could simply mean duplicate content got removed.

For a detailed analysis use Google's webmaster tools as sugested before.
