Hello guys I have installed the moded phpBB SEO board. I am not sure why but Google is not indexing any of my new post..

I am frustrated, what have I done wrong? Please help..

and 30 000 indexed pages on google, I would not say that your post are not being indexed. The result is the same if you remove article from the results, so it actually seems that your forum is fully crawled.

You as well did a good job for redirecting the old urls, since ftopicp-3397.html urls are well redirected, so you will most likely end up with a bit less indexed pages after all these duplicate will have been reduced. This will eventually help for a faster indexing of new content too.

Anyhow my issue is this ..

Someone posted this item "Armin van Buuren - A State of Trance #410 2009.06.25" on Thu Jun 25, 2009 8:07 am However up to this day google does not show my site are being one of the sites that can have this item.. this is happening for 99% of all new post..

Here is another sample "Timpie's guestmix on The Vanishing Point 184 2009.29.06" started Sun Jun 28, 2009 2:08 pm but still nothing in google..

But the real question is : are these two pages cached or not ?

Because it will take a bit longer for google to cache new content fast and to put it high in SERPS in the same time. That's where competition really begin, and where being the authority site (thus with the best content overall) matters.

I believe dcz was trying to say that he believes the indexing is still occuring but taking longer to update on google. Have you had ANY new topics indexed in google yet since installing the mod? If not, how many days has it been since the first post after the mod was installed?

Okay so now some parts of my forum are being index and appearing within hours but others are not example:

http://tinyurl.com/mmvyzj has been index by google yet a topic posted in a different session at Fri Jul 10, 2009 9:47 am has yet to appear on google..

However another one posted in a different session http://tinyurl.com/nm2y5s posted at Fri Jul 10, 2009 12:39 pm did get index

and another topic http://tinyurl.com/kj65cj posted at Thu Jul 09, 2009 8:33 pm is also indexed.

okay this got strange stuff that was index and appeared in the google index has now disappeared

Well, it's kind of normal to see some move in google's index, and even more in SERPS for new threads. Because fresh content usually gets a little boost for a while and then loses it, unless it becomes the authority content on the topic.

may be it depends on competition; if you post such subject that google is having enough results for that then google will not give much value to your post, and will not be cached.
