Google Wave Community - locked topic indexing

I have the forum topics locked for Wave Terminology. I dont want members to post against those topics but want the topics to be indexed by search engines. Will the lock stop the search engine spiders too ?

Not it won't, but since these topics will not be replied to, they won't show up on index (last post link) things like that. They do not loose nothing except the little boost activity can bring.

So what I understand that the topics must get hit for better indexing. I guess that can be achieved if I can show the topics always on top. Will you please tell me how did you do this in the forum SEO Techniques for the topic Locking the www in urls ? I can see the last post is on March 16, 2009 though the topic is at the top.

It's just a sticky, you can set any topic to be a sticky while posting or editing (if of course, you've the right to).
Announcements as well stays at the top of the list, they are additionally displayed on each pages of the forum they are posted in.
