I found that at lang variable is missing in RSS Content:

RSS_ALLOW_NEWS:
RSS_ALLOW_NEWS_EXPLAIN

I choosed to activate URL rewriting both for RSS at Sitemap.
Was I supposed to do a .htacces update from the SEO tab in ACP?
I couldn't but I did it manually.

Now to my question
How do I get the RSS feed to show the message content?

Yes, I saw this error in the English language pack, it's already fixed for the next update.

About available feeds, have you noticed that http://www.phpbb3bbcodes.com/rss/ is listing all available feeds ?

You can there add the options to show content and more :

http://www.phpbb3bbcodes.com/rss/digest/ => with content
http://www.phpbb3bbcodes.com/rss/news/ => only the first topic, no answers

You can combine settings in this order
http://www.phpbb3bbcodes.com/rss/news/digest/

And you can add short/ or long/ at the end to have short or long lists :

http://www.phpbb3bbcodes.com/rss/digest/long/

etc ...

On each of these channels pages, the feed links will integrate the options you have added look at the rss image link on the right part

Example : the forum feed with content : http://www.phpbb3bbcodes.com/rss/digest/forum.xml

and now you can play with bbcode filtering et all
