I installed the edition that came with phpBB3 SEO premod. I have finnish language package installed and I have mod "top five" too.
So, after I install everything? how do I create a sitemap? is there a button there to create one? If it creates it automatically, then where can I find the xml file?
I tried viewing sitemapindex but it just gives me
"This page does not contain enough item to be displayed.

What does this mean?
Which file do I submit to google as sitemap? Where is the sitemap xml file???!! I've installed my forums and gym_sitemap mod in a subdirectory.

Any help, please?

This messages is displayed until at least one forum gets more that the configured threshold topics (ten by default). You'll may need to clear phpBB's cache once you reach the threshold for the first time in a forum.
Then you'll start to see sitemaps following the link displayed in your forum footer, the sitemapindex url is the only on e to submit to search engines.

I changed the threshold amount and now my sitemap works.

When a search engine searches through the sitemap, it first follows the links in it but what does it do then? Does it follow the links in the page the sitemap guided it to or does doesn't it index any other pages than those in the sitemap? So if I submit sitemapindex, it follows the links to the sitemaps of my forums/subforums but does it follow the links in the sitemaps in those? Or does it follow all links?

Bots will follow ALL url in sitemapindex, and then all url in sitemaps as well, but it could take longer since this is where bots are indexing your forum.
Following all links in the sitemapindex will make bots to know about all the urls in the sitemaps very easily. Sitemaps are mainly a way to provide with many urls at a time (up to 50 000 per sitemaps, which with gym means up to 50 000 topics per in a single forum). It's allowing bots to better schedule crawling and update fresh content faster.
But bots will still crawl other links they will find in your page just like they'd do without a sitemap, so sitemaps will not exclude any pages that are not listed. Things are just a bit better for url listed in sitemaps.

Already done. Both phpbb and gym.

Well, the forum with the most topics has only 7, so unless you did change the threshold, everything is normal since default value is 10.

In all cases, there is not much use of sitemaps with this few topics.

mm, make sure you did not excluded forums from the listing in acp.

Another problem: URLs rewriten in Forum URL Management were not indexed by Google.
