All right, what I told you did remove the post title in case you'd include content, so now, to additionally remove the forum link, you can replace :

Removing the statistics or the last poster information would be as easy as getting rid of the variable of the same name in these two lines, but you would end up with an empty description. $first_message and $last_message are required to display post content in specific feeds and are empty when you hit a simple feed :
rss/news/rss.xml vs rss/news/digest/rss.xml
