Well, as a matter of fact, this is not a 404, and the sitemap is valid : http://www.validome.org/google/validate ... eTyp=INDEX

So it may only be related to what's discussed in this thread : problem with sitemap at google webmaster
Google seems to have had some issues itself with sitemaps, because some sitemaps went reported as unreachable for many sites while they where actually reachable and valid. From what I currently see in my webmaster's account, every thing has come back to normal.
