Wao, things are moving fast

Hey dcz ,

I wish! Hehe, it was about time i moved away from a VPS given my other sites. It's a preemptive move, but it has to be done some time.

People are registering, creating there own forums, but not doing anything with them.

The system is fully functional, allows full style, theme, template editing so you can fully customize your forum, everything you could ever want. However people seem to register, then leave hehe. I need to work on techniques to get them working on their forums.

Adsense (or alike) revenue sharing could be a solution

I have actually been considering revenue sharing.

That's a whole other system though, i'm quite happy to consider it, however for the moment i will be focusing totally on improving the current system until i'm happy it is as easy to use, and stable as possible. As displayed it's still in it's "beta" stages

We have a ways to go yet , and plenty of time i think.

I'm definitely considering that, something i believe other free forum hosts do not offer at this point.

Well, a part from the legal matter (though such experiences are already running and google is not against it), there is nothing complicated here.
Just need to store the user adsense id somewhere and to do the appropriate random to pick his or yours in the desired proportion before adds gets displayed. A matter of few lines of code really.

Of course, this was just an idea and is not necessarily THE solution, especially since it would not necessarily result in big incomes.

Oh i have no problem implementing the system, i can do anything i want in that respect.

There could be legal matters yes. At this point i would have to be using a different ad network anyway unfortunately.

And as you say, generally there would be minor revenue per forum, the only benefiting forums would be have to be pretty large given they're gaining only a percentage.

Food for thought though, certainly helps create incentive.

The past few weeks i've undergone random issues here locally, and have not been able to futher develop the system (Add features etc), and now i'm also experiencing more hardware issues right when i'm trying to setup some local virtual servers for some major testing on a multiple server system changes.

So regarding the site handling multiple servers straight away, that will have to wait. However new additions to the system will be made in the coming weeks after i get some hardware issues sorted.
