One thing you could do would be to use a bit more unique meta tags and descriptions. Keep the firm description for the home, and use more specific ones for other pages. Even though meta tag will only play a limited (very) role as far as SEO, think about it this way, there is only one first position in SERPs, and you do want user searching for you in general to land on the home
