This issue was occured one time before, and is couse the dev who is hosting our website didn't thinked we need so big band for our project.

But, since we had so many support issues and so many users online the alocated band was consumed before the end of the month.

We hope that this will be solved soon, in any case we have a recent backup.

It looks like the end of the mx-publisher project...

Now I look for alternative,
I test drupal with phpbb3 but have problems with display forum inside of drupal ...

...not quite...

I have been searching everywhere to get a good master copy of MX-P which can be used on a live site.

I have everything between a combination of Jon & Orys work on their versions they develop seperately / had deveoped.

But my one issue now I have a fully running public site is why I am constantly getting referred back to the index page after clicking the Administration Panel link at the page footer.

Has anybody come across this issue previously ?

if so what was the fix, I know that MX-P had many many good fans and I dont want to just let the project slide into obscurity as it almost about to do.

I have attempted to contact Ory on a few occasions regarding issues I have presently without any reply through Email/Facebook without any reply in days now.

Jon I have no idea how to contact other than email but I know he rarely checks it.

So any help to the above issue would be gratefully appreciated..

You're a godsend.

I've been religiously checking whether mx-publisher.com would come back online, but no joy.
I've noticed Ory has committed some changes in CVS on a module, so I had faint hopes.

But the magic of google brought me back here.

I have the MXP 3 copy and assorted modules that was last available from the website, and have reinstalled it for development purposes with no major hiccup. My live site is still alive and kicking with MXP and phpbb3.
The admin link thingy reminds me of a problem I've had since the last phpbb update, and is related to the rules set in the new .htaccess distributed with phpbb, maybe that goes to the same source?
I have this exact behaviour on phpbb. Admin link => login => back to index page, but subsequent clicks ont the admin link do go to the admin panel, so the session has indeed switched to "admin" role.

Let me know if I can be of any help in maintaining the project afloat. My development days are way behind me, but I'd be glad to help on other things.

Thanks for replying.

I want to firstly (now i know you have a pure source of MXP) mak a personal plan as to what I want to do with it exactly.

I'll create some spare space on my server and start there.

I'll reply if you respond here as i check my gmail every day, other then that i will check back in within a week or so.

I've placed a notification to my webmail on the topic to keep the livelink. So I'll check back when somebody pings it here.

My MXP files sit quietly in a corner of my hard disk (and yes, it's backed up...), so just let me know where & what to do with it. PMs or emails or via here, whatever suits you.

As far as I'm concerned, until an upgrade of my other apps break something, I'm staying with MXP on my live site, so I'm just keen to keep the project "alive" while not necessarily moving forward. I mean, I'd be glad to see it moving again, but at least let's try not to drop it into oblivion.

As I said, I used to be coding (but not php) a while ago, and this is long past me, so I'm not considering anything other than tinkering with minor things here and there if something breaks.
