I was just curious as to whether the social bookmarking mod from this site would work if it was used on php link directory?

Hi i want to share my story.

It took to me 6 years to be indexed in dmoz. I submit my site several times and always respecting the guidelines. I await always at least 6 months to resubmit.

Some months ago i notice that my category have an editor. So i submit again. A lot of time later my site was never listed. So i write a report to a meta editor and said that the editor of this category apparently was the webmaster of a website competition of mine. So obviouly he is not interested in giving to me ...

I was wondering, does anyone here own a directory?
Be it specific or general ones.
Sometimes we find a lot of directory owners in forums like this one; it would be a great opportunity to share this information and we could all exchange tips on how to build a successful directory. If you have any thoughts on this, I would be very pleased to hear them as I am considering building a niche specific directory.
