News of Mixed SEO URL

Hi, I have read everything around the site and couldnt find step by step instructions on how to install the mod rewrite on phpbb. I did find some scattered information which i hope is enough for me but i want to double check... First of all, I have a wordpress installed right on the root of my domain, and phpbb is in the directory /forum. I wouldve installed the premodded version if I knew about all this ,but unfortunately I already have my forum running and really wish to optimize it for search engines.

Hi, i just created a forum Singapore Forum Guides, but the URL rewriting doesn't seems to work..

when i set "activate URL Rewriting" = "Yes", i got 404 error and the entire site can't work anymore...

this is a brand new setup.. how should i proceed? can any senior assist? Thanks

I'm having some issues trying to get phpbbSEO to work with Wordpress when using permalinks setting. If I use a permalink for a Wordpress page this is being picked up by phpbbSEO which reports it can't find forum with that name. If I don't use permalinks it works ok. Example:

-http://localhost/welcome --> phpbb reports that it can't find forum with that name

if I turn off permalink option in WP then URL would be

-http://localhost/page_id=2 --> that is correctly interpretted and displayed in Wordpress

Hi, recently i have installed and activated URL rewriting mixed mod.
i changed the .httaccess file as well but now my board has crashed. index page is not using css. and not any link is working.
even i can not login. board url is (http://www.devftp.com)
here is my httaccess file

I am using SQL re-write to create custom urls for each topic.

If I would like the url to be, and enter it as : /PhpBB-SEO-is-Really-Great

It gets changed to the all lowercase url, /phpbb-seo-is-really-great

Anyway to make the Capital Letters work?
