I've really been trying to get this to go for a while now but all I ever get is boring old topic332.php type links for my forum. Can anyone help? I've modified my .htaccess file and played around with the setting for days but must be missing something important. If I turn on the SQL Rewriting feature the URLs will manually rewrite fine but it just seems to refuse to build topic URLs from the titles of the topics my users submit. Help anyone? I'm not sure what I need to send you but my forum is at ...

i've just installed a phpbb 3.09 forum - on localhost - (i think it must be tested offline first)

I'm also using PHPBB SEO ULTIMATE SEO URL v 0.7.0.

i want my topic's url has the topic title for URL ( viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2 --> topic-title.html)

i have read this,(phpbb-mod-rewrite/ultimate-seo-url-t4608.html]phpBB SEO Ultimate SEO URL V 0.7.0)

but i dont know how to active THIS OPTIONAL - function
viewtopic.php?f=xx&t=yy&start=zz
topicyy-zz.html (by default)
topic-title-tyy-zz.html (optional),
i've aldready active advance mode, with all option available. but my link are only like this

Say for instance my structure is as follows:
Main/Forum 1/Forum 2/Forum 3.

How do I set up phpBB SEO so that my page title (shown in Google results) is:
Forum 1 - Forum 2 - Forum 3 - Site Title OR even better, allow me to select which levels of forums are shown

Rather than just:
Forum 3 - Site title

Reason being is that "Forum 3 - Site title" alone does not mean much, but inclusion of Forum 1 and/or Forum 2 in the title will assist.

Yesterday, I went into phpbb and purged my cache... after I did that, my entire forum broke and I am unsure why. Everything before then was working perfectly fine. The error that I get now is:

Fatal error: Call to a member function session_begin() on a non-object in /homepages/5/d348323162/htdocs/forum/index.php on line 24

Can anyone help? My Line 24 looks like this:
