I have phpBB3 3.0.4 and the includes/functions.php make customization in:
$this->meta = $config;
$this->meta = $config;
$this->meta = $config;
$this->meta = $config;
$this->meta = 'general';
$this->meta = 'index,follow';
$this->meta = 'global';
$this->meta = 'document';
$this->meta = $config;

Or in 3.0.4 , "$this->meta" does not exist.

Can you tell me where the custmization shall be made in this case?

If this question is answered elsewhere, I apologize; I haven't been able to find it. I am new to SEO, and have just installed phpBB3 3.0.4 in a subfolder, with a template that fitted my site perfectly.

I now want to instal zero duplicate and advanced mod rewrite to optimize seo. I first installed advanced mod rewrite, then tried to set it up, but found out in the ACP, that it references zero duplicate several places. I then thought I will need both. Now when I try to install zero duplicate, many of the lines I am supposed ...

I have phpbb-SEO 3.0.4 installed and working fine apart from that I changed the Meta Tags in Overall Header and now I get same meta tags everywhere.

What can I do to insert the meta tags based on the topic titles and for the main page, just the static meta tag which I will define?

I have tried installing Advanced Meta Tags MOD from phpbb but it didnt work for me.

Any help will be appreciated.

since i've updated to phpbb seo 3.0.4 premod. category and topic titles work fine actually.

see on your own:

bevor i was running a version moded (optimal titles) by myself and the forum's title appeared. what happened? I can't remeber to have to change something in the code to make my forum's title appear on the different pages...I also had a look at the mod's install instructions but couldn't find anything...

has somebody a clue?

Will this fix "Duplicate title tags" = 60 from google webmaster tools

The other issue I seem to be having is:

"Duplicate meta descriptions" = 85

*I don't know a whole lot about SEO except the basics
