News of phpBB2 Simple mod rewrite

I am not a big programmer and I tried now since days to figure some way out to solve my problem but I cant get it done alone and need some pro help. I searched also already but did not find the write answer. I hope somebody here can help me out.

Hi! Im using the smartor album with phpbb2. Trying to find out how to get this result:

mysite.com/album_personal_index.php
to
mysite.com/gallery/

and(most important)
mysite.com/album_personal.php?user_id=2102
to
user.mysite.com/

For this last part i found a good topic here. But what do i need for getting it up and running?

my domain is http://forumlowongan.com
i installed phpbb in subfolder /lowongankerja

when someone go to forumlowongan.com.. they will be redirected to
http://forumlowongan.com/lowongankerja

i upload this .htaccess file in the root folder.. in public_html/
but.. it return 500 internal error..

here is my .htaccess file.. which i copied from phpbb seo .htaccess page

please.. help..

i tried to copy n paste .htaccess file that was in phpbb seo acp page .. to new .htaccess file..

and i upload it to the root..

but.. the result is internal server error..
i already delete all file in phpbb/cache folder except .htaccess file

still the result is internal server error 500

help me please..

9) Test a rewritten URL, such as www.yoursite.com/phpBB/post1.html, if you end up with a 404 (not a phpBB message), go back to step 8;
10) Activate URL rewriting in phpBB ACP and allow yourself some auto-congratulation :D
