Oh come on, do you expect us to work on a phpBB version that does not exists yet ?

We can only start to work on new version when they get released, and this is usually done for the premod a week or so after the phpBB.com release.

About updating to 3.0.1 right now, you can give it a try if you have some coding skills, but it's safer to wait a bit until we release the updates, will save you some work

For what it's worth, I gave the phpBB updater a quick spin on the premod version. It handled practically all the changes, though it tripped on a few modifications I added. Unless you're very good at merge/conflict resolutions and local testing, I strongly agree with dcz: Better to wait a week for the dust to settle.

Yes i know but i was very angry, When i see a new version i must update my forum and i don´t think about other and Seo mod´s and then i updated to 3.0.1 my forum was completly crash i spend 5 hours with repairing it. And last error was on viewforum :-/
I believe you releas new version of SEO mod ASAP, SEO is very important part of my forum.

Completely crashed what, your live board? If, so you should use XAMPP and test locally. Then if you "crash", only your locally running instance of your forum is affected. I NEVER apply fixes to a live board that have not already been thoroughly tested offline.

I know that phpBB tries to automate updates, but let's be real, software errors happen and there's no point in causing yourself extra work and aggravation by changing a running board. Last I looked, there were at least half a dozen "my board is broken" threads on phpBB's support forum, which only goes to show that being first to upgrade isn't for the faint hearted.

For this reason, IMHO, phpBB-seo should NOT immediately turn around and post a modified version of 3.0.1. Wait for the dust to settle and then you could upgrade to a modified version without the "buglets."
