Well, it's most likely the proxy to cause trouble here, we need to find out more about it, is it using a single ip or several, is it transmitting the User Agent etc ...

I am sorry to do not make myself clear buddy
It is still not working, but I mean I can use my profile at any workstation on my work (like go to another department and log-in using my profile).
by the way, I've tried this by go to another department and use another workstation with a different IP, and also the problem was still exist.
I hope that I make it a little bit more clear.
Thanks :D

My fault all over again. Please let me rephrase my last two posts.
I have an account with a username and a password for my work network, and this account or this profile I can use it to log-in at any workstation or using any computer in the work network, and this is from my department or from any other department.
Computer or workstations at my work network (each computer has a single ip).
So when I log-in to my computer at work using my profile I found that I am not able to access the forum, and this is applying when I use the computer at my department or any other department.
So my reply was regarding the network at my work
  • each computer has a single IP.
  • I can use any computer at work using my profile.
  • I am not able to access the forum from any work station at my work.

Thanks

Ok, got it, so this leads us to the first question, what is the proxy filtering at your work ?

Because it may use a different ip than the one from your local computer at work and as well, jump among several.
Other possible matter could be related to UA filtering as well as cookie denying.

So, you can try to deactivate Session IP validation and Validate browser in the security settings in acp, and better with the trick mentioned above to do it only for you, but try without as well, just in case.

If it does not work like this, you can try to deactivate Tie forms to guest sessions as well, but it's becoming less safe. Would be better for security if we could do this conditionally for you only, but since this option is used by guests, we'd need to do it for you work ip only, and would be able to if you do not use too many different public ip or dynamic ip at work.

Try this and we'll see how it goes. I suggest you install a test phpBB to perform all these tests, it's better not to open too many things on the live board before we find ways to make this possible for your account only and / or from your work ip. It's safer.

I am afraid that I do not know.

Ok, my IP at work is 10.40.200.57 and I will try the settings you mentioned as soon as I go to home.
Thanks and best regards.
