"Mark forums read" not working after 3.0.3

Postby hahaha08 » Mon Dec 15, 2008 11:26 am

My forums "Mark Forums Read" is working until i upgraded from phpBB3.0.2 to phpBB3.0.3. I dont know the real cause. maybe due to the Advanced SEO URL mod.

here's my sample url when i click "Marks forums read":

Code: Select all
http://www.example.com/forums/index.php?hash=dbc16a81&mark=forums

then it will automatically redirected to:

Code: Select all
http://www.example.com/forums/index.php?mark=forums&hash=dbc16a81

ang will give Page Load Error. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I am having that same problem, and I haven't tracked down what's causing it yet. Did you upgrade using the auto update script that supposed to merge changes? I did, but I don't entirely trust the process.

In the meantime, you can turn off No Duplicate and Zero Dupe and you will be able to mark forums read again. If I can figure out what's wrong with my 3.0.3 board, chances are it will be the same thing for you. :)

yes but i love their old style of updating (code changes) for heavily modded board.
