Aww mann... I messed up really bad

Postby respectme » Sat Jan 30, 2010 12:25 am

Ok so I tried installing the Ultimate version with Auto Mod. I Forced Installed the MOD. ANd now my site 1thread1day.com says this

Code: Select all
"[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /common.php on line 219: require_once(./phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_class.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/fivestar/public_html/common.php on line 219"

I do not what to do... my site is down... I chmodded the Cache folder 0777. But it still doesn't work. I emptied teh phpbb/cache folder (except the .htaccess file. Am I missing something?

I tried doing yoursite.com/phpBB/phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_install.php but nothing happens when I get there.

well a live rep helped me but this is what she did.

You take the phpbb_seo folder taht's in "/public_html/*/store/mods/phpBB_SEO_Ultimate_SEO_URL_v0.6.2\root\phpbb_seo" and you cut it from there and paste it in public_html/*

( * = installation directory. So, if your forum is your homepage then leave the * out.)

After I cut and paste the file to public_html, my site came back (with errors [for example when i click the forum listing link, it had a fatal error code and so I decided to uninstall it)) it allowed me to go to my admin control panel, and I uninstalled it with AutoMOD. Why? Because I had many other errors going on such as the one example above.

I would be happy to reinstall it if someone can please provide clear instructions. I am sure many people are unable to install it because it's a bit of a complicated process.
THANks
