SQL rewrite on, but topics not injected

Hey, I have a pretty simple problem. I have SQL Rewriting on but topics are not automatically receiving topic injection on my forum. Instead of the title appearing in the URL, it just uses 'topic'. How do I make this simply add a better default URL then topic? Thanks!
