The requested user does not exist

I'm getting "The requested user does not exist" for regular users, but admins it's working fine. This only happens when I turn on the Profile injection. If I turn it off, all usernames I click on work fine. But if I turn it on, it shows "The requested user does not exist" when I click on a regular users username. What could be the problem here?
