SSL connection for forms only?

We run forums on our site and for some reason the PCI scans we must run (as we take card data) are now failing on the phpbb3 login pages etc. I did some searching & found this page http://phpbbacademy.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=12698 which detailed how to get the SSL to work on login, registration etc only. It all worked but then if I clicked any of the RSS feeds or sitemap link I got a 404 error. Is there any way to secure all the forms on phpbb3 and have the forum work correctly?? The only other option I can see would be to move the forums to a sub domian but I really do not want to do that as the pages are all indexed etc. Thanks for any help.

I got this to work. I followed the guide in the thread I linked to & just reset everything to do with RSS & sitemaps back to default. Now works like a dream Hopefully the PCI scan will pass now as the login is all SSL.
