Postby tdemis » Fri Sep 19, 2008 8:32 pm

Hello and nice to meet you all
I have question

is it posssible to get rid of sid in posting.php?

in my phpbb3 forum when i click on submit button to post a thread the sid appears up in my IE url link

i want to be able to do it just like here where only "posting.php" appears as link

is there any way to do it?

thanks in advance

I cannot think of any reason why you'd want to do so, really.
SID are mandatory for logged in user that do not accept cookies, you could then see this kind of user loosing their sessions every time they try to post.

No need to say that bots do not post and will never index sids if you installed the zero duplicate.
