topicxxx.html and topic-titlexxx.htm

Postby raptaparty » Fri Jul 10, 2009 1:45 am

Google Translator: Hi, I have the Ultimate SEO URL phpBB SEO in advance mode V 0.6.0 installed on my forum, but the links appear like this: topic192.html and I would like to leave the title of the item in the link, eg title tema.htm -

How do I do? I have the options in advance, regenerates. htaccsess cache, also cleaned the racket, sync_url.php to enable the reset and synchronization, I did all that and still remains the same, how solve this problem? Do I need to edit something in the phpbb_seo_class.php? Or maybe something in the edit setup_phpbb_seo.php? What should I do? thanks in advance ...

I have the same problem... I have it on Advanced, SQL Rewriting is set to on, and I synchronized all the topics... and when I edit the URL in a post, it doesn't change anything... stays topicxx.html

But that is not what I want... it would be a pain in the butt if I do that for all the topics (which I want... I want all topics to have SEO friendly urls... rather than topicxx.html). What do I have to do to accomplish the script to automatically put the topic title into the URL? Thanks.

@ raptaparty
Please do not post several topics for the same matter : It only works within the theme?

@Bogey

The same reply may apply, make sure that you installed the mod properly, and that you did empty the topic_url field using sync_url.php before you resync them and after you switched to advanced mode in acp.

I did install it properly... I went through every single step carefully. I'll recheck though

Oh sorry, I fixed the problem. I stopped editing after I finished with the last edit we had to do to prosilver... You should move the last two PHP edits before any template edits... Got me confused.

It's the same for all mods, all styles need to be changed when a mod does change templates ;)
