Before you start, read this with caution.
=> For a smooth install :
1) Backup all your files;
2) Apply the mod code changes on copies of your files;
3) Upload all files;
4) CHMOD the phpbb_seo/cache/ folder to 0777;
5) Empty the phpBB/cache/ folder : just delete all files EXCEPTS the .htaccess.
6) Go to yoursite.com/phpBB/phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_install.php and follow the install instruction

all of this except for this last step 6.

i can get to the overview page, but when i click on the installation tab, it just keeps redirecting me to log in again. what step should i take next?

i actually got it to install by manually adding the &sid after the url, but im thinking it is going to cause problems if i dont fix it.

No, it's ok, it's a small bug that could also be circumvented if you had logged in before you would have gone to visit the install file.

I am having the same issue. After I install, I login as admin, and go to ACP, and type in -http://forum.ingilizce.com/phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_install.php
I am asked to login. I login, and then no matter what I clicked on, it asks me to login again. I tried bith IE and Firefox and no difference. The installation was on a new 3.0.6, with no other mods installed. I moved all the installation files but the congig file and the install folder.
The forum is on forum.ingilizce.com
Any ideas why this could be happening?
