so i installed everything, but when i went to the phpbb seo tab in the ACP, i get

Cache file status:
The cache directory configured is : ./../phpbb_seo/cache/

The cache directory was not found.
The cache directory is not writable. You need to CHMOD it to 0777.
Some files within the cache directory may not be writable, make sure you properly CHMOD the cache directory AND all files in it.

I changed the CHMOD to 0777, but i still get this comment when i go into the SEO tab

What's in phpbb_seo/cache/ ?

And more important, are your setting saved after you submit them ?

nvm thanks for the help, but i figured it out. once i installed i went to the folder in my root directory called phpbb_seo and created a cache folder with the 0777 permissions and everything worked out perfectly
