index is not listed in googleindex

Postby lizard78 » Wed Mar 21, 2012 1:31 pm

I have a big problem with my phpbb-seo board since I installed it one year ago! :evil:

My index page is not listet in google, and it has no PR. All other pages of the board are listed in google, only the index is not listed!

my board: slackline-tipps.de/forum

Does anybody else have the same problem?

Perhaps this can help: If you open the index page first time, there is a url with sid (-slackline-tipps.de/forum/?sid=e0e0b2b7762eb5f624fbcf406b73b90d), then there is this meta mag:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex,follow" />

Without any 'sid' in the url, there comes this meta tag:

<meta name="robots" content="index,follow" />

How can I remove this "noindex", perpaps then my indexpage get listed in google if I remove. But which file I have to edit?

Please help

What files are listed in ACP -> phpBB SEO -> Extended config -> File filter: ?

If one looks at your site with the user-agent Googlebot the following error occurs:

General Error
Language file ./language/en/mods/info_acp_recenttopics.php couldn't be opened.

You can check this out with User Agent Switcher or Rex Swain. Google Webmaster Tools (Diagnostics -> Fetch as Googlebot) are another possibility.

Upload info_acp_recenttopics.php to the /language/en/mods/ & /language/de/mods/ directory, clear cache and check again.

Btw: Don't post session IDs.
I install and configure phpBB-SEO (and other mods) for a fair price and very fast. If you are interested simply send me a private message.

I just did, but there is still a 'noindex' metatag in all sites with a SID in the url.

More ideas?

Enable: SID Removing

SID Removing:
SID will be removed from 100% of the URLs passing through the phpbb_seo class, for guests thus bots.
This ensure bots won’t see any SID on forum, topic and post URLs, but visitors that do not accept cookies will most likely create more than one session.

The Zero duplicate http 301 redirect url with SID for guest and bots by default.

Your forum index looks normal now with user-agent Googlebot. But to be on the safe side you should check it out with Google Webmaster Tools (Diagnostics -> Fetch as Googlebot). If it works, use the "submit to index" feature to have the page listed in Google search within 24 hours.

thank you very much. Now, the SID is removed. This must help... :-)

I would like to aks you another thing:

If you go to my sitemapindex.xml (-slackline-tipps.de/forum/sitemapindex.xml), you can see only one link to a forum. Why only one? There should be listed all other forums, too. What I have to do, to list all other forums there?
