I am running on a shared hosting enviroment with a Linux server, so I am almost sure it has mod-rewite on it.

I am also wondering if seo ultimate is compatible with SSL enabled sites, and if it is compatible, what should i be careful of and what kinds of problems can i expect to have, sorry i know that is a loaded question.

I just want to make this installation go smoothly as possible, I was gonna try installing this mod with the automod feature

The worst thing i am trying to prevent is getting any errors , especially any errors that say redclare.....


If i find instaling this mod is too difficult, is their anyplace anyone can turn to, too have this mod installed for them.

I just tried this seo ultimate on a test site instead of a production site to see if can get it to work, i used the seo pre mod package , everything installed correctly, and i activated the mod rewrite and saved all information the i clicked on the .htaccess and copied and paste to my .htaccess file and i still am getting a 404 not found when trying to go to link
