I created a social network with a Forum integrated.
The forum is installed in a subdirectory, called /forum.
The profiles have nothing to do with the default phpbb profiles and are displayed through an external file, profile.php which stays in the root.
This is the url of my forum
This is the url of a profile
(note1: the profile url has a rewriterule which points to -http://www.racebooking.net/profile.php?id=xxx)
(note2: in the online version you can browse, your mod is not installed. I am testing it on a private server)
I would love to have profile URLs in forum to point to profile.php, thus i changed the function set_user_url into phpbb_seo_class.php. Here is the change i've made:
$this->seo_url['user'][$user_id] = "piloti/profilo-92/alberto-naska-fontana.html" (this part is obviously built dynamically)
The problem is the following:
The profile urls are displayed like -http://www.racebooking.net/forum/piloti/profilo-92/alberto-naska-fontana.html
But they need to be -http://www.racebooking.net/piloti/profilo-92/alberto-naska-fontana.html
How can tell your mod not to put /forum ONLY into my profile urls?
