I just installed phpBB SEO No Duplicate and i was wondering how i could change the way the last post on index looks.. Let me show picture



Was wondering on how i can change Everything about how that looks. any ideas?

This is done in forumlist_body.html, look for the added code in the install.
If you want to show more (or less) letters from the title, you can do it in includes/functions_display.php :

How can i change how its italicized ?

For prosilver, open styles/prosilver/template/forumlist_body.html and find and edit:

Typo

I installed the SEO mod and additionally the Zero Duplicates. I allready use another mod to show last topic title on index.

My question is, would it be necessary to install this No Duplicates mod also? If i just use the other 2 will it work fine and don't get me in trouble with google or anything else?

Would it cause any problems using the Last Topic Titles mod on index? Because now i have:

on index a topic is like postxxx.html#pxxx

and in viewforum the same topic is like forumtitle-fxx/topictitle-txx.html

I know the NoDupe has a functionality to show last topics on index but i like the mod i have and i just want to know if this will be causing problems or if i should install NoDupe because it's necessary?

In my opinion you should remove the title mod and install the nodupe mod.

It is a great mod and the last post title is just secondary to its main purpose which is to

get rid of post URLs on phpBB3 Index, forums, and topics and use topic url instead, for the same purpose, but without duplicates.

and besides, SEO wise you should install this mod.

Typo

Just in case, you cannot use the no dupe AND the last topic title on index mod together, since the no dupe is already doing the same job and more.

I'm still thinking about this but just in case... if i would let it be like i have it now. Would it cause any problems?

The mod eliminates duplicate content which is something that you can be penalized for SEO wise so again I say, in my opinion and SEO wise, yes you should install the phpBB SEO No duplicate mod. I uninstalled the NV ALTT mod and put in NoDupe and it didn't even take me that long. It is well worth the time, you really should just do it.
