How to install phpbb seo mod

Postby pavement » Wed Dec 30, 2009 2:08 am

I have tried to install the phpbb seo mod but i can't figure out how to make it work. I edited the files and uploaded them and changed the htaccess. I think my issue might be that i took the contents of phpbb3 and put them in the root of my site eliminating the phpbb3 folder. I think the mod is using that folder and it should be.
Is there a way to direct the mod to look at the root of my site instead of the phpbb3 folder or a way to take phpbb3 out of the url.

like i had it like this -http://www.mysite.com/phpbb3/
then to -http://www.mysite.com (becuase i moved the contents of phpbb3 to the root of the site)

this worked fine until i wanted to use the mod

Im stuck any questions or comments would be helpful thanks.

I have a newly built PhpBB3 forum, bridged to my Joomla site using RokBridge and using a RocketTheme Style with RokBB3. What I need is somebody who knows how to fully install and correctly configure the phpBB SEO Mod in "Mixed Mode". It must be setup correctly and allow the bridge to work as it does now.
I need somebody who has done this before and is absolutely confident that they can do it without any damage to my site. Please don't bid if you only think you can do it, experience is a must for this project.

@jonebele
Bridging jommal and phpBB may be a wider topic than you though, but it should be possible with some php skills :
