Hi, I've tried a fresh install of the premod and it works beautifully.

I know it can convert a phpbb2 board in the usual way - but how do I use it to upgrade an already existing phpbb3 RC5 installation?

When I have tried installing it on an existing phpbb3 RC5 installation, if I try using my old config.php file, the PHPBB SEO tab doesn't exist in the ACP.

If I just create a fresh installation, the installer makes me use a different prefix to the one already used in the database.

So how do I make the premod work with my existing RC5 database? Thanks.

Just upload all the premod files, but the config.php file and the .htaccess.

Then, download any of the phpBB SEO mod rewrite, standalone version, there is a file in phpbb_seo/ called phpbb_seo_install.php.

Upload it and run it, it will add the phpBB SEO ACP category.

All version are using the same admin panel, only hiding some options for some cases, it's handier like that, and we don't care about three more line in the ACP.
