phpBB SEO Premod ... Do I need something else?

phpBB SEO Premod for phpBB3 support forum.
This premodded version of phpBB3 includes the three different type of URL rewriting for phpBB3 by phpBB SEO. It comes with several other Search Engine Optimization mods installed.

If I've used this phpBB SEO Premod, am I still need any mod or editing for SEO or friendly URLs!?

All our SEO mods are in the premod, so, you have pretty much everything you could need seo wise, and 3.0.2 will include GYM sitemaps & RSS ;)

Hey,
I've downloaded the phpBB3-SEO-Premod_V_3-0-1, and found its contents as follow:
  • Folder contrib.
  • Folder root.
  • phpBB3-SEO-Premod_V_3.0.1.txt.
  • phpBB3-SEO-Premod_V_3.0.1FR.txt.

What I understand so far that the folder root is the one that I will include for the forum, but what about the folder contrib?
What is its usage?

You should only upload the root/ dir content, to where you want to install phpbb.

The contrib dir contains files that could be useful for specific install cases as well as a sample robots.txt, but they are not needed to run the premod.

Read the install file, it's all explained.
