Premod post installation questions!

Postby mp04 » Tue Oct 21, 2008 9:06 pm

I have a couple of questions.

1) after searching for days and days, I can figure out how to inject the topic titles. The category injection is perfect, but topics just show up as Topic1.html instead of "Welcome to PHPBB3"

2) I am trying to install gym sitemaps that was preloaded with the premod but the installation files says I need to edit and and upload pages manually before running the install, but what files am I editing and uploading.

Thanks in advance

In order to inject Topic Title into the URL, you need to be using the Advanced Rewriting Option.

Steps: Go into the Admin Control Panel (ACP), Click PHPBB SEO Tab, Change URL ReWriting Type to Advanced.

To take a look at how this will look, you can checkout my forum here.

Take a look at the release notes for the PreMod 3.0.2. All the updates have already been added. All you need to do is run the installer.

Steps: Install the phpbb3 Premod 3.0.2, navigate to -http://www.yourdomain.com/phpbb3/gym_sitemaps/gym_install.php

Now granted, the URL depends on where you installed phpbb3. if you installed it in the root, just remove the phpbb3 or if you installed it in a /forum folder just replace phpbb3 with forum. ;) I'm pretty sure you get the point :)

Hope that helps.
