hi,

I'm currently using phpbb 3.0.2, i havent yet upgraded it ti phpbb 3.0.3, there arent any mod installed

i want to install the premod seo 3.0.3 without losing my members, messages, post dates...
what is the way to do that?
do i need to upgrade from phpbb 3.0.2 to 3.0.3 first?

i think u just ned to db update then install premod package.
but plz wait untill seo or dcz tell u. :D

Since there are no mods installed, you could a) update your db (not the files), and then b) overwrite all files with the premod's ones, except config.php.

You'll have few more things to do to activate the premod's acp and to add the required index for the no duplicate mod, but that's about it. You'll find more info about this here : http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/phpbb-s ... t1962.html

I encourage you to first try the procedure on a local / test server, not that it it difficult, but it's a good thing to play with the url setting before you go online, to be sure to use the url you really want.
