The automatic update from 3.0.2 to 3.0.4 failed so I decided to take the seo premod 3.0.4, take my existing database and then to apply the needed database changes accordingly.

the database structure was changed by the automatic updater to 3.0.4 - I only miss the needed SEO premod table changes (e.g. news icon won't show up).

What tables do I need to update and how? I have a fresh install of phpbb seo premod 3.0.4 which is working fine, so I could copy or merge some tables from there.

to use the new phpbb_gym_config table doesn't seem to be enough...

I had a look around but couldn't find any answer to my question. Can somebody pleas help me?

At this stage, you need to run the GYM sitemaps installer (gym_sitemaps/gym_install.php) to install the GYM acp modules and config table on your DB and the no duplicate query :
ALTER TABLE `phpbb_topics` ADD INDEX ( `topic_last_post_id` );

with the proper table prefix

I checked it out but it didn't work at all...(nothing changed, i.e. the news and sitemap icons are still not visible.

I want to start from a proper phpbb seo 3.0.4 installation with empty database and fill it up with the user content (postings, etc.) of my old database (3.0.2).

what tables do i need to migrate?

Well, I would not go for this kind of db mess up just because the icon do not show up, reason can be many for that, ranging from GYM not installed to empty forums.

On you 3.0.2 db, make sure that the version set in phpbb_config is indeed 3.0.2, then run the latest install/database_update.php.

Then you'll be able to connect a new premod with the old db.


You will need to un-install GYM before you install it again to activate the HTML module (this is the last time you'll lose all GYM settings) and it should work.
