Problem with phpBB SEO Premod after importing database

Postby buyrs » Mon Feb 09, 2009 10:25 pm

Hi,

Right after I tried to import old databes I lost ACP for phpbb-seo (it's invisible now). But I see seo-phpbb icon in the footer and the titles rewriting works. What's the problem? How can I fix it?

ps. phpBB SEO Premod wasn't installed on the forum with the old databes.

btw. What's fastest way to install phpBB SEO Premod if I have already installed phpbb 3.0.1?

Thanks for all replies!

This is normal, the phpBB SEO acp module is just not installed on your db.

Just run phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_install.php and re install, it won't alter your SEO URL settings.

Same for GYM, you'll have to install it again on the new db if you are using it.

ultimately, you need to run the no duplicate query :
Code: Select all
ALTER TABLE `phpbb_topics` ADD INDEX ( `topic_last_post_id` );

The full procedure to migrate from phpBB3 to our SEO premod (same version) is detailed here :

Usually, using phpmyadmin or any data base management tool your host provides.

If I don't run it zero duplicate will not work, right?

Yes, it's mainly an optimization for big boards, not required at all when the mod is deactivated.
