Hi i have a website about betting, i changed a lot of info on this till i fot the latest version, in last month i changed the forum from fireboard to phpbb3 wich has seo premod and GYM a mod for sitemaps, i added sitemaps and seems lots of old forum urls is still in index, also from new forum only 6 pages are indexed, but my big problem is that when i look like this :

i see the 6 pages but all ahve same title and description :

If i click on title i can see the page corect but if i look in cache says that i don't have the permision to view that page, i have no pages restricted from visitors of bots, the robots.txt is ok, i don't know what to do anymore, please advice me.

Looks a lot better now. It must have been a simple authorization issue isn't it ?

It's where the bot tools can be tricky, we always need to make sure that bot can actually access all the forum we want in phpBB3, the kind of thing that'd better be checked twice than none.

no, is fropm previeous forum i haved firebord installed, and i installed phpbb3 and imported all content, i have seo prmeoded phpbb3 and GYM installed, i don't know what's the problem, i teste the googlebot pemrisiion and i can see everything, but when i see trough web-sniffer.net like googlebot, i can't see all content , so anybody can help me ?

It as well looks like you did not installed / activated thephpBB3 SEO Zero Duplicate V 0.4.8, which you should.

Then, about redirecting the fireboard urls, have a look at what I said in this thread :

The offer is still on if you provide with paginated example and are ready to code a bit, to at least make it possible to re-link the old url with the topic id in the script (a way to do so would be to add an old_topic_url field in the topic table and fill it with all the topic urls you had when using fireboard. We would then be able to properly do the required redirecting).

whell did you looked to the new pages indexed ? i mean in google chahe ? you will see the message you are not authorized to view this resouce, and ll my pages are indexed with the title Informatie , if you look at my site is ok for guests and members, only googlebot see different

look at this page :http://www.pariuri-x.ro/forum/discutii-generale/freebet-bwin-t4913.html how google indexed the title and description and look in chache and whn was chached, and if you look with websniffer you will see that googlebot see only header and footer but no content for contet have the permision error, so how can you say is no permission problem ? please somebody i need help i'm ready to pay for help.

This is an authorisation issue, if guest can access content that bot cannot see and read.

The fact that a google sees the you're not allowed to see this page error on a publicly readable page is just a proof that auth are not set properly. Google cannot read it for real.

So you need to fix the auth of the bot group ASAP, and as I already advised you to.

but is already corect setted, i checked on many forums the way it should be, or maybe i'm to dumb i go to user pemision grpoups permission and there are bots listed i select googlebot and i see his permission he can read, download page, have acces everywhere, i'm going crazy, my messenger id is babtan_marius i will be glad if someone will talk with me and explain how to set correct permision. thank's.

You need to edit each forum's permission, one by one, there is no other way, and then add and set up the bot group for each.
Note that you can do this for one forum, and then, in the forum management page, apply this forum permission on all forums that should use them too. But if you later change the forum auth used for all other, it won't update all forums, only this one.

Remember that the only valid test for bot auth is google cache. You can use code sniffer as well, with googlebot as UA :

If you really cannot fix this, then make sure you do not have duplicated entries for auth_option in your phpbb_acl_options table (this would be bad but not fatal).

i already did that i added permission for bots for all forums, and still have this problem, i;m ready to pay for fix, anybody ? my yahoo messenger id is babtan_marius

a very very strange thing o noticed that when i set the permission i look trough my cpanel to google bot pemrission and is empty if i copy froma nother user the permision and then edit in ACP on phpmyadmin will show empty, any ideeas why they are deleted ?

I think when i maked the sync with jfusion everything was messed up, what do you think ? what should i do ?

Man i resolved the problem at least that say web sniffer i delleted from user_group all group id=6 and all users from phpbb_user under group six, from 2 to 64 id was free on another website of mine haved from 3 to 53 the bots id's so i exported and importned on wrong forum after i deleted the bots, tested and now is working, damn i'm smart thank's for all

I'm not sure that you indeed fixed anything doing that. Actually, the complete opposite is more likely.

phpBB3 authorizations are quite powerful and complex, there isn't really any part that would not suffer from the kind of operation you tried (eg direct db editing) since several tables that depend on each other are used to store the authorizations.

The user permission field in the user table is only a cache, it is normal to see it empty when you set up auth. It is filed when the user visit the website.

So now, I'm not even sure about what could be done to make sure you did not mess too hard with auths. The safe path would be to import back a clean db backup and only use the phpBB ACP to set up auth, it's not that hard, and it is safe.
In all cases, I do not recommend you to continue using the db with your custom modification in the auth / group tables, chances are really great that they will result in some unattended behaviour at this stage.

Whell i just deleted the bots group and users not the rest and imported same fields, the strange thing is that with websniffer i don't have naymore any error like Nu sunteti autorizat ...
