Hello killer project you guys have going on here. I am pretty impressed.

I took the latest pre-mod and updated my forums, pretty much everything is working how I expect it to but I have one minor minor issue and one major issue with sitemaps.

http://forums.herphut.org the Sitemap Index is failing to resolve for me. I am not sure what I missed here and of course can't push out a sitemap to google for this reason. I do understand I have pretty much no content could this be the issue? I would like to get my forums SEOing from the beginning.

Also in IE8 I get this error when veiwing my rss page located here ; http://forums.herphut.org/rss/news/rss.xml.gz

For the sitemaps, it normal, you will need at least ten topic in a forum to have one generated.

For the RSS, not that error are only related to XSL transform, so your RSS feeds are still valid and working : http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url= ... rss.xml.gz

About the error itself, it's pretty hard to debug since IE is not providing with much info (the xsl stylesheet is compressed and actually served on a single line), but you can try on thing, in style/youtheme/gym_sitemaps/gym_rss.xsl, try to delet that line :

It's only a bookmark link, and it could be the guilty one here. Once done, delete GYM's content cache (gym_sitemaps/cache/) using the maintenance link in RSS acp, and clear your browser's cache once done too.

When you say 10 topics in a forum, do you mean 10 total or ten in each forum?

At least 10 within at least a given forum

You can lower this threshold in acp, but sitemaps are pretty much useless with few topic, they are mostly useful to provide many url at a time.

I'm facing the same problem.. and i did remove the addthis code from the place given... clear the cache or browser and sitemap as instructed... still getting the very same errors...

mm, this one will be hard to investigate on.
