What is SID removing?

when I configure to YES for SID removing in PHPBB SEO Pre mod, but there is still sid in browser url as user logged in the forum, but not for guest and Cookies is set to YES.

I don't understand. When SID removing set to YES, that is meant for all users and guests. aren't you???????????
