I tried to update my forum to the latest version of phpBB SEO... But it doesn't work!! There's no way to use it... So my question is: is the autoupdate stable?
I'm thinking about delete and reinstall all the board... Using the phpBB SEO Premod 3.0.6... Is it stable? There's any problem with the db (the data will be mantained?)? What else should I install of the phpBB SEO?

I reinstalled the forum... I saved all the data... But now I can't set the URL rewriting... My forum is in the phpBB3/ folder, not in the root... I guess this is the problem... In the previous version i could set this option... Now how can i do this?
I tried to set in the .htaccess:

Yes, the update packages are stable, but updating is always a sensible matter if you did some custom changes.

Anyway, to use the premod with an db needing to be updated, you just need to update the db using the install/database_update.php from the premod package.

And, the issue you're having seems to be due to phpbb_seo/cache/ chmod, this directory need to be writeable, as well as the files inside of it. Make sure about this, and report about any other difficulties
