When i clicked submit, it brought me to the page with the big green box that said something like "you can now click here to change urls" (http:// thecollegeforums . com/phpBB3/phpbb_seo/sync_url. php)
I clicked it and it gave me an error
Not Found

The requested URL /phpBB3/phpbb_seo/sync_url . php was not found on this server.

I then saved the htaccess file using the save feature [I didnt make any changes to it. I know in the SEO class settings options it says that you have to make changes to the HTaccess file but i couldnt see where i needed to make changes] I have a feeling that is where i messed up.

Then i tried to go onto the site and nothing showed up. got a 404. So i So i took off zero duplicates and and duplicity and then the homepage showed up
But everything from then on was a dead link ( http:// thecollegeforums. com/phpBB3/drinking/ ) displayed a 404 error

From then on whenever i tried to enable the duplicates the whole site seemed to disappear (404)

I deleted the cache to no avail so i just deleted the Phpbb_seo cache and the site went back to normal how it used to be with no url changes at all.

Im completely lost, could you please look at my settings and see what i am doing wrong? I made sure modRewrite was loaded and AllowOverride to All

That is exactly what i did, if i was supposed to do anymore could you inform me of what i did wrong? I have a feeling it is a setting i have to change in the htaccess file but i wouldnt know where to start.
Thank you so much in advance for your prior and future input, you have helped alot of people including me.

Second look at the htaccess should i have uncommented one of these? or changed anything?
# HERE IS A GOOD PLACE TO FORCE CANONICAL DOMAIN
# RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^thecollegeforums\.com$ [NC]
# RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://thecollegeforums.com/$1 [QSA,L,R=301]

Again, thank you in advance!

WOW my site is now showing up in google! The URls are still the way they always were but the dynamic keywords and everything seem to be doing their job. Still cant figure that problem out but In the php info it tells me that "Virtual Directory Support" is disabled. Is that what i think it is or is it just apply to cgi-bin, etc. ? THANKS!
